Christmas!
Finally getting around to posting about our Christmas, though there's really not much to post ~ and I have the most lame-o pictures ever lol!! Not sure what happened ~ it was a very laid-back holiday for us. We all enjoyed the day and I wasn't too concerned with pictures other than getting the boys in front of the tree, which is a tradition. Even our menu was different this year. I hadn't really realized it until recently, but I think I'm still feeling a bit misplaced. New home, new area.....everything is just different
and I'm still trying to figure it all out.
The boys went to bed around 7pm Christmas eve! I tried to discourage it, but they were so excited and both very tired. Ethan eventually fell asleep, and Elliot was up & down most of the evening and into the early morning. It was rough, I think I gave up around 11:30, curled up under a blanket and watched the Hallmark channel into the wee hours of the morning. Thankfully Santa managed to sneak in while we all dozed off!!:)
We had a great day celebrating Christmas ~
playing games, laughing, relaxing and just being together!
Santa brought Elliot Nerf guns, a bandolier & vest, some playing cards, cash and chocolates. Ethan got a sword & shield, cash, chocolates and a new laptop ~ they were both very happy! Dad got clothes, some running gear and a new tri-watch and Santa surprised me with lots and lots of pink ~ my favorite being an embroidery machine!!:)
Enjoying the day together in our pajamas!!
Couldn't wait to try out my new machine!!
New year's eve was laid back too ~
we celebrated with root-beer and homemade pizza
and of course watching the ball drop in Time Square!!:)
Happy New Year everyone ~ Happy 2013!!!

Our Christmas was laid back and beautiful, too! It is so wonderful to just have time to hang out with family.
It looks like you had a fun and relaxing Christmas and New Year's Eve! Love these pictures and your pizza looks soooo delish!
Oh my those pizzas look delish! Our Christmas was the same, I realized later that I didn't take any photos while gifts were being opened!
Oh Ethan with his sword and shield - that made me laugh. My son was into the Lord of the Rings when we was around Ethan's age. What an imagination boys have. It looks like you had a perfect Christmas. Sometimes just being with family is present enough. Happy New Year, sweet friend of mine.
