Oh! ~ fruit loved of boyhood! ~ the old days recalling,

when wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling!

When wild, ugly faces we carved in its skin,

Red Rose Alley said...: Oh, your boys look like they are having so much fun. We have a pumpkin carving contest every year, and even though the kids are grown, they still have a great time doing this. I will post the pumpkins on Halloween. Your pumpkins look so nice on your porch.
