we've had a busy start to the New Year,

but look forward to getting caught up on our blog

and catching up with all of you!

Our holidays, although wonderful,

found us unexpectedly in the middle of selling our home~

we are very, very grateful and will hopefully

have everything taken care of by the end of this month~

there's just been a lot to do and I've felt out of sorts~

but I think it's all gonna be ok.

First Snow 2008!

Snow!!

Long before Christmas, Elliot has been asking when it was going to snow.  I've had to tell him time and time again, that because of where we live, we don't get much snow, if any.  Last night as we were heading to bed, I looked out the window and saw the most beautiful site~  big, fluffy flakes falling and covering everything with white!  The boys were so excited to get up this morning and see everything covered with snow!!  It was awesome to finally see them playing in the snow, making snowballs and sledding down the hill!!  It pretty much melted by afternoon,  but they enjoyed it while it lasted~  hopefully this won't be the last!
