Apple Farm

One of our Autumn traditions is to go to a local farm
for fresh apples, warm cider donuts,
hayrides and scarecrow stuffing ~
We always look forward to this special day
and the beautiful colors of the farm this time of year!

"I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself
than be crowded on a velvet cushion."
~Henry David Thoreau

So long apple farm ~
until next year!!

Your trip to the apple orchard looked like a lot of fun!
This is something I still have on my list (we live down the street from one) and if I don't get to it this weekend, I may miss the season all together!
Thank you for sharing your day with all of us ... Tell Elliot, I was chasing chickens this morning too...ours escaped from the coop and were enjoying the freedoms of finding bugs in the backyard! Got to chase them all home before going to work.
